To place CPSQA on a more formal footing, there is a need to elect a slate of Officers to manage the affairs of CPSQA both nationally and in each chapter. CPSQA has scheduled an Annual General Meeting - to take place at the end of the regular public meeting April 15. At the 2010 AGM, arrangements are being made for the election of Officers both for the National Board of Directors and for the NCR Chapter Executive. It is anticipated that the Kingston and B.C. Interior Chapters will hold elections at some point in their future as their chapters grow. CPSQA Members nationally will be invited to nominate National Directors for the operation of CPSQA as a national body while NCR Members will be invited to elect Officers to manage their Chapter. Here is a letter explaining the process and inviting Member input and here are links to the forms for nominations of Officers for the: a). National Board of Directors; and b). National Capital Region (NCR) Executive. To review what is expected from the Officers and Directors of the respective bodies, follow this link to our Governance page. Nominations We have reviewed our lists of Members and meeting attendees plus registrants from the CPSQA and NQI-hosted Ottawa Public Sector Quality Fairs and divided them up by chapter. Everyone on these lists received this letter as part of an email blast and recipients were encouraged to be involved in the election process and to support your local or nearest CPSQA chapter. Nominations closed April 8th and the Nominations Director is pleased to report that a full slate of Officers have been nominated. The results will be announced at the AGM April 15th.
