National Quality Institute

As noted on our Events page, NQI hosted a most successful Performance Excellence Summit along with the 25th Annual Canada Awards for Excellence Gala at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on October 22^nd. Anyone wishing to learn more about NQI and its programs are invited to visit the NQI website at www.nqi.ca.

ASQ Ottawa Valley

Word has been received that congratulations are in order. The ASQ Ottawa Valley Section has been advised that, as a result of a successful verification session September 16th, the Section will soon be receiving a Progressive Excellence Program (NQI PEP^®) Level Two certificate from the National Quality Institute. This puts the Section at the Transformation stage in its PEP process achievements. We understand that work will begin immediately to prepare for the verification at PEP Level Three - the Role Model stage of the Section's Excellence Journey. It is understood that this is the first volunteer organization in Canada to achieve PEP Level Two.
