The Canadian Public Sector Quality Association is an organization established to serve public sector employees at the federal, provincial/territorial and municipal levels. CPSQA has a particular focus on quality and excellence in a healthy workplace environment and seeks to provide knowledge enhancements to those involved in the quality movement. There are pages associated with this part of our website that will tell you more about the Association, its aims and objectives, and provide information regarding those volunteers who keep CPSQA in operation. In addition to providing networking meetings an average of four times each year in the National Capital Region, chapters are being formed in other Canadian regions where it is expected local meetings will be arranged - initially on a random basis. In the summer of 2009, a paper was prepared outlining plans to expand CPSQA into other parts of Canada. Geographic expansion is now a feature of CPSQA with two pilot chapters formed. Look for more information under Regional Chapters on the menu bar. In the NCR, CPSQA partners with the National Quality Institute (NQI) to hold an Ottawa Public Sector Quality Fair each year. While these events are open to all, the focus of our programs is to a public sector. As the Association grows across Canada, it is hoped that that Public Sector Quality Fairs will be held in other centres - with the same co-hosts.
